I loved the fishy theme yesterday as it reminded me of the country that isn’t home anymore. But today off to new adventures:

you have written wonderful huchen-poems! i don’t know if we can save the danube salmon from extinction this way, but at least we’ve done our little bit to make it more famous. and now we are building a huge bridge over the pond but towards the east. fish for me are always connected with japan and japan is connected with haiku.
therefore, it won’t be a surprise for you that the prompt for 11. May is: ” write a haiku“. I know we had this promo before ( more than once). But look at it that way: Some poets wrote haiku all of their life and only haiku and for us they are only once per #frapalymo. If though fish are protagonists of your haiku that’s up to you. Important is only the form as prompt.

I try to capture the so-called “haiku moment” which I have interpreted as an enlightened moment. You know: when you walk along a river, and it suddenly hits you how wonderful creation is or you suddenly know the answers to the universe. That sort of moment. Of course, that is not something easily done. But let’s just keep on trying
