As you can see, I was busy over working my blog. My plan is to make it more user-friendly and clearer structured. There was an interesting side-effect. I went through all my posts, put a few back to draft and changed some of the titles and I realised how much I have written so far and that I like some of it very much. I am proud of my little corner in the blogosphere and hope you like it too.

#frapalymo prompt no 28

Really?! Number 28?! I can’t believe again it’s nearly over plus on top my “A Prompt A Day For Bee” is nearly over too. As I said above I had a look through my old posts and I realised how much I have achieved in this poetic year. I am also so excited to have found new poetry forms like the haiku and visual poetry. Those are two forms I would like to discover more over the next few months. Ah, I digress…

Thanks for such new and wonderful sounds and moods, which were to be read and felt in your translations and re-versings. These new voices are not to substitute our own but to enrich them. And I at least work differently with language and the structure of a text since the last prompt. 

However now to the next prompt. The #frapalymo prompt for may 28th is: “predetermined breaking point”. Again a word that I found in my everyday life and occupied me. And now I share my happiness or pain with you and the “predetermined breaking point” may occupy you too…! I am curious about your interpretations of this terminus technicus.

When I was a child

I was supposed to break
When I was a young woman
I was supposed to break
When I was a grown woman

So many
Tried and failed
In breaking
My spirit and life

I was supposed to break
But
I didn’t!
