I am reposting this prompt at the original date. Feel free to use the prompt even though the event is over:
I was really looking forward to this prompt. The idea came a few weeks ago as I have a list of

Yes, I was looking forward to it. First of all, I love “Wordles”. Secondly, I always like to use my favourite poems to create new ones.

One of my favourite poems

One of my favourite poems is W. H. Auden’s “Stop all the clocks!” also known as “Funeral Blues”. I came across it the first time when I saw the film “Four Weddings and a Funeral”. My step mum gave me a little booklet with Auden’s poems and this one I learned by heart. (No, I have forgotten most of it just in case you want to ask ).

Sources for his week’s “The Day Jobbers Essential Poetry Prompt” poem

The four words I have chosen are LET, NOW, EVER, COME

 This week’s poem

Now is the time to live

Let nothing get into your way
Come have a little fun
Ever-more you’ll seize the day
