#amwriting diary ~ #NaNoWriMo17 ~ update 21nov17

So, just a short update on my writing.

As I told you two weeks ago I had a break as my mum came to visit us and I had not been writing for National Novel Writing Month 2017 in that time. It was great to see her again after two years and we had lots of chats and enjoyed ourselves.

However, it is hard for me to get back into the writing now as on top of that I am starting to volunteer in a hospital close by. On Monday I was shadowing the lady who does it since years. She was a brilliant teacher but it was a lot to take in so I could not get myself to write anything for “Morsmart at the end of the Galaxy”. You can see the little NaNo picture that I am over 27 000 words but I should be at about 35000 now.

So I have to hurry up a little. Today though I have a middle shift from 10 am to 5 pm and I know I am not usually writing after that. And on Wednesday I do a split shift to get the introductory courses for the volunteering in. Why on earth did I sign up for NaNo????

Well, the rest of the week I have only short shifts so I should be able to get some huge writing done. To give myself some credit: I have scheduled a couple of posts yesterday for December and this post, therefore, I was not “writing-less” entirely.

What about you? Are you getting on ok with NaNoWriMo or any other writing you are doing? And do you have any advice for me how I could get back into it?

    1. I didn’t finish that year but managed in 2015. It’s astonishingly easy once you get yourself a routine. I think you do write about that amount with all your daily blogposts combined. πŸ˜šπŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ
