The day I met you
The day you bounced into my life and my world
Was October 26th 2012
You were turning 2 years old the day before
I bought you a badge to hang around your neck
It said worlds best birthday boy on it
You melted my heart
You were so cute
The way you hold your lead in your mouth
Telling me you want to go for a walk
Your waggly tail
Your soulful eyes
Your warm fur as I rub it gently
Makes me feel so amazing
The day I met you
Is a day I will cherish
Forever
