Blast from the Past: Mindful Monday ~ A little more shopping

This entry was first posted in April 2015 on my old blog:

Two weeks ago, on Mindful Monday I wrote about my shopping habits and what I still have planned to change. Even though I have not started to make my own shampoo or washing powder yet (does anyone have easy recipes for it? ๐Ÿ™‚ ) I stumbled upon a clothes shop which looks good.

As you know I buy vegetables with Riverford which is an organic box scheme and we love it. Last week I got an email from them where they advertised for some raffle. You could win clothes from Peopletree.com. Now I had never heard of them but was curious so I went to their homepage and was astonished at the range they offer.

Of course, the design might not be to everybody’s taste but their credo to work sustainably and fair trade is worth looking into. Even though I did not write it, I was thinking about changing my shopping habits with clothes as well and then a week later I get that email which makes me aware of this shop. Let’s not speak of synchronicity :-).

So if you feel like buying clothes more sustainably please head over to Peopletree.com. They are having a sale right now and they offer spans over nearly all the world.

Not sure if Colleen’s “Mindful Monday” is supposed to advertise for businesses but I am sure she’ll forgive me in this case :-). Please head over to her post about “Mindfulness for children” and find more mindfulness posts in the comments
