They are watching us and they have all the right to do so

  1. I’m trying, but I cannot take credit, for it was all Miss Goose’s idea. We bought re-usable grocery bags, and mesh bags for produce, re-usable cups for Starbucks, and are working on getting either a distiller or filtration system for water to replace the 24 or so single-use bottles of spring water we buy every week. It’s a small step, but … as my former boss used to say … peanuts make elephants. Hugs, my friend. πŸ™‹

      1. Methinks we are going to need to do a heck of a lot more, but … as you say … it’s a start. We are doing more than certain large corporations that, if they chose to, could make a huge difference. Sigh.

      2. If only customers knew their power because as soon as someone doesn’t buy their stuff they change their tune but we are probably too brainwashed to stop consuming…. πŸ˜”πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ

      3. So true. Many are too brainwashed, some simply don’t see it as their responsibility, and others are just plain selfish. There are a number of businesses and restaurants I won’t give my business to because they discriminate against LGBT people, but others keep going there, saying, “But, I like their chicken sandwiches”, or “but it’s the closest store to me”. Sigh.
