You are very welcome. That’s a mince pie and very delicious. Just bought some today and I can share because I am the only one who likes them in the family π today there is no mince it it just fruit, spices and booze ππββοΈπ https://whatscookingamerica.net/History/PieHistory/MincemeatPie.htm

Oops … I should have looked closer! Heh heh … I’d likely be the only one in our family that liked it, too. I haven’t had mince pie since I was a little girl. Wait … booze? Did you say booze in it? Then sure, send me a slice please!!! And thanks for that link … I had no idea it had such a history! π π₯§

You are welcome again π I didn’t know eitjer but always wondered why it was called “mince” pie. I am having porridge currently and we try to decide what to do now that the torries are in fully blown and will take us out of the EU in January. Surprised I atill have an appetite… πββοΈπ

Yes, I received no less than 5 “breaking news” updates about it and I am sad for my friends in the UK. Sigh. I wish it had turned out differently, my friend. π Big hugs! π€
