#ClimateJusticeSaturday ~ Introducing Ken Smith fighting for workers rights in a climate changing world

Hello, out there how are you? I hope you are well and that your world is able to adjust well to this climate-changing world.

There are people out there who fight for acknowledgement of the climate crisis which is already happening all over the place. We in the so-called “developed” world just are not told about it. That is why it is important to me to keep you updated on some people I “met”via a book by Mary Robinson: “Climate Justice – A Man-Made Problem with a Feminist Solution(the book is known under several slightly different titles)

Unlike the title of the book suggests Mary Robinson also wrote about some very inspirational men. One of them is Canadian Ken Smith who as a trade representative made it his job to give his colleagues a positive change when the mine they worked in closed down. But he realised in the process that climate justice has many facets and needs to be brought about.

Please listen to what he had to say about “Climate Justice Now” in 2016 at the Marxismconference in Canada. Please follow the link underneath the video if it doesn’t play here on the blog.
