Hello out there dear people of the blogosphere, how are you? I hope life is treating you well and if not that you always find someone to turn to.

Today I introduce you to Chris Lewis and his rescue dog Jet. The best husband (Jeremy Clarkson voice) in the world and I found out about them last year August when we were watching The Travel Show on the BBC. Christian Lewis is an ex-paratrooper who is fundraising for the UK Armed Forces Charity SSAFA. He wants to raise 100 000£ by walking along the whole coastline of the UK.

This man and his dog are just amazing. We are following him on his Instagram account too where he decided in December he wouldn’t take any offers of staying in houses anymore until he has ended his walk because so many of his fellow ex-army men and women are homeless and suffer from PTSD and other mental health issues. They won’t get such kind offers and that is why he walks and raises funds anyway.

He is currently up in Scotland. On Shetland to be correct and it is bitterly cold and snowing. So please if you have a pound or two to spare give it to his fundraising page here: Just Giving
