I much prefer a chaotic flower bed! I am not a fan of neatly planted rows with some scheme in mind. We plant bits of this and that in our little postage-stamp yard, wherever we can find room, and it’s always a profusion of colour with no plan at all. Just the way I like it! And bee flowers are the order of the day for the past few years, though last year we saw far fewer bees and birds. π₯ π

Same here both with a ” wild” garden design and fewer bees. The birds seem to be the same but we live in the middle of nowhere so they have a little more space πββοΈπ

It’s funny, though, that the cricket population seems to have exploded last summer! I love crickets, too, but I’d rather have the bees. π π
