I am not quite sure how uncertain authors are today about working with book bloggers. Blogs are certainly much more “a thing” than they were in 2015. So maybe this quote isn’t that up to date anymore. However, Barb Drozdowitch is a brilliant social media advisor, and it’s worth checking out her page and books. That is why I re-publish this post. Today’s Teaser Tuesday goes a little non-fictional. But as most of us here are bloggers or book authors and blogs, that review books, become more and more important, I found this book a great idea.
About the author
Barb Drozdowitch is a Social Media and WordPress consultant and has written 6 books in her “Building Blocks to Author Success” series. I am reading her newest “The Author’s Guide to Working With Book Bloggers” for BookTourTips and found it a very helpful book.
Looks to me like authors have a lot harder nowadays to be discovered as there are so many more books out there. So even though publishing itself has become much easier for authors, the promotion work has become much harder.
Any guide that can help you find out what to do and how to get readers is a good thing in my eyes.
Find out more about Barb on her page: Helping One Author At A Time.
My Teaser
And here is my teaser:
A common complaint I hear from authors is that the questions are stupid or a waste of time. My response is that the authors need to take what their given and form it into something they want to represent them and their books.

“Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the
following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!”
