Sorry, I didn’t check the schedule time and so this one was late 😔
Hello dear Love Is In Da Bloggers, I am so looking forward to your posts today but as this is a world-wide blog event I am posting tomorrows prompt already to make sure those in earlier time zones have enough time to take part too. But that comes a little later.
First my answer to yesterday’s prompts “Choose Your Own“.
Not sure if everybody thinks their partnership is a great love story but I think ours is. We met at a time when neither of us wanted a relationship but we just could not stay away from each other. And it works for more than 10 years struggles and all. So I wrote a little haiku-like poem about it.
Summer & winter
The seasons change as do we
Our wedding rings.
The song I chose is not a love song as such but by a musician I very much like at the moment. Her name is Ajeet and she makes wonderful calming and healing music. This one is “Kiss the Earth/La Luna” and it says on YouTube about it:
“This is a song to connect to the moon, to the grandmother guiding wisdom. It is a song of love, letting go, and embracing the wisdom and magical mystery of life.“
I believe our lives are a great love story with the earth. We just need to remember it.
So what are we up to tomorrow?
Romeo & Juliet ~ Find a love song and/or write a Madrigal about them.
Can you do great love stories without Romeo & Juliet? No matter how much a cliche those two might be, I feel you can’t do it without them. Maybe you’ll find a parody to work with if you despise them. Or you just enjoy and old well-known story. No matter what, feel free to make what you want with this one.
I think I have chosen some challenging poetic forms. Well, I was challenged quite a bit because I chose some forms that need rhyming and rhyming ain’t my thing. But I also found it utterly fun to try myself out with these. So if you want to do your own thing because its just that bit out of your comfort zone, please go for it. This is supposed to be fun not a chore.
Please link tomorrows post back to tomorrows post and leave a comment so we can go and visit yours no matter on which platform you blog.
So over to the suggestions on how to take part and all the prompts for the whole month.
“Love Is In Da Blog” Rules/suggestions
- Join in! No matter where, when and with what. You missed the first day or week? Don’t worry. Just jump in when it suits you.
- Send us the link! The ping-back option does not always work so please leave a link in the comments of the post on the day you take part.
- Tag your post either with “Love Is In Da Blog” or “LoIsInDaBl” or “Love Is In Da Blog 21” or #LoIsInDaBl21. You can also use these as hashtags for Twitter and other Social Networks to give your post more exposure.
- No matter which music the prompt favours you create with it whatever you please, and whatever length you please (no pun intended 😉 ) as long as it is about “LOVE.”
- I post the prompt post the day before which is connected with the music for that day so you have some time to make up your mind and create your post. There won’t be two different posts and I hope it’s not too confusing.

Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. So far the campaign has raised about half the amount needed: £421,666 of £800,000 (January 2021).
Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
Thanks, my dears, for staying with me until the end.
I appreciate your presence.
Please stay safe, stay kind and remember that you rock!

If someone who isn’t signed up follows the link they just get the sign-up mention. 😊 You could add a message telling ppl they have to sign up if they want to read and the reason. And link in comment is just fine too.😘 Looking forward to reading your post. Just having a late breakfast 🙋♀️🐝
