Hello out there, dear Love Is In Da Bloggers. Happy Saturday to you all!
Ah, today we have a prompt for the lovers of old films. Dr Zhivago is a classic and I needed a while to figure that his name is written differently in English than in German. In German it is “Schiwago”. Looks like they had to adapt it, because otherwise it would have been spoken differently. Not sure, they would do the same today. Viewers would just have to learn the right pronunciation, I guess.
Sigh, all that snow when they arrived in that country house to hide. You probably know my love of snow something that might soon be a thing of the past in the UK looking at what the climate crisis is bringing us. Even though it currently doesn’t look like it all. We have more than enough of the white stuff 😁.
I know Lara’s theme is not particularly “revolutionary” but I just could not resist 😉
I have to admit the Onegin Stanza defeated me. I simply could not come up with anything. So I give myself a breather and do a freestyle 😉
Abandoned
You let her go.
Your little girl. Abandoned.
Like you were.
Abandoned.
By the men
you loved.
Abandoned.
Tomorrow, we are back to the myths of civilisation and another sad story:
Orpheus & Eurydice ~ Find a singer/songwriter song about love and/or write an Ovillejo poem about love or Choose Your Own.
Now dear Love Is In Da Bloggers
go, find music, write poetry
and have lots of fun!!!!
“Love Is In Da Blog” Rules/suggestions
- Join in! No matter where, when and with what. You missed the first day or week? Don’t worry. Just jump in when it suits you.
- Send us the link! The ping-back option does not always work so please leave a link in the comments of the post on the day you take part.
- Tag your post either with “Love Is In Da Blog” or “LoIsInDaBl” or “Love Is In Da Blog 21” or #LoIsInDaBl21. You can also use these as hashtags for Twitter and other Social Networks to give your post more exposure.
- No matter which music the prompt favours you create with it whatever you please, and whatever length you please (no pun intended 😉 ) as long as it is about “LOVE.”
- I post the prompt post the day before which is connected with the music for that day so you have some time to make up your mind and create your post. There won’t be two different posts and I hope it’s not too confusing.

Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. So far the campaign has raised about half the amount needed: £421,666 of £800,000 (January 2021).
Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
Thanks, my dears, for staying with me until the end.
I appreciate your presence.
Please stay safe, stay kind and remember that you rock!
I’ve never seen this movie, but from the clip it looks pretty good. All that snow! It’s looking a lot like that around here today, as it has been snowing all morning.
Beautiful music! I remember we used to play this song when I was in the school orchestra. I played the violin. 🙂

It’s quite a sad movie but also very moving. And I always wondered what happened to their daughter 😊. And the theme is beautiful 🙋♀️🐝
