Dear Love Is In Da Bloggers, we’ve made it half way through this years “Love Is In Da Blog”. It is amazing how time flies. I appreciate your participation and am daily looking forward to your posts and creations. And, of course, today is Valentine’s Day. Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! I thought we do something a little different. Why not do a Chinese Valentine’s Day and it’s story:

Did you feel that the Sijo was a bit of a challenge? Did you skip it? I can’t blame you. I needed quite some time to figure it out but here it is:

Mythical Love

When first we met we fell in love immediately and so deep.

Your talent made me love you ever deeper but the heaven’s did not.

So we had to fight for our love and eventually won.

I assume this form works better in Korean. It somehow doesn’t feel like a poem but I guess if I tried it out more I could master it eventually. Maybe 🙂
