Love Is In Da Blog 2021 ~ Dante & Beatrice & Prompt 28

Hello. You out there? Are you well? I very much hope so. And if not know that you are in my prayers!

Today, we’ll go back in time and to Italy. The prompt was

Dante & Beatrice ~ Find an Italian love song and/or write a Palindrome poem about love

or

Choose your own.

My first English teacher asked me if my name was chosen because of Dante’s Beatrice. Yes, my full name is Beatrice and not Bee even though I love that nickname. Suits me. But I also love my “proper” name. That is why I had a look at Dante & Beatrice. Another more obscure and not fully happy love story. I cheated a little with my Palindrome poem but I like it all the same 🙂

Beatrice & Dante

Dante & Beatrice

Married to others

A tragic fate

found they

Love?

They found

Fates tragic and

others to marry,

Beatrice & Dante.

Interesting poetry concept 🙂 .

As for the music I went for another of my favourites from the 80s. Am not sure how well-known Eros Ramazotti is in English speaking countries. In Germany, he was quite hot way back when. But if your name is made out of a love god and a herbal liquor you must have something about you…. LOL

This one he did with Tina Turner and I had never heard it. It’s ok though 🙂

And tomorrow we’ll have our last Hurray for Love Is In Da Blog 2021 with

Clara & Esteban (House of Spirits) ~ Find an exotic love song and/or write a Katauta poem

or

Choose your Own.

Now dear Love Is In Da Bloggers

go, find music, write poetry

and have lots of fun!!!!

  4. No matter which music the prompt favours you create with it whatever you please, and whatever length you please (no pun intended 😉 ) as long as it is about “LOVE.”
  5. I post the prompt post the day before which is connected with the music for that day so you have some time to make up your mind and create your post. There won’t be two different posts and I hope it’s not too confusing.

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that treated me for breast cancer in 2020 is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow some same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.

Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. So far the campaign has raised about half the amount needed: £421,666 of £800,000 (January 2021).

Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.

Thanks, my dears, for staying with me until the end.

I appreciate your presence.

Please stay safe, stay kind and remember that you rock!
