We’ve only just begun or I share my day and my world…

Happy Monday all you lovely people. How is life rolling in your neck of the woods? We have some autumn sunshine and just a little wind. It has started to get cold and I love it. Not the cold but October. It’s my birthday at the end of the month and our wedding day too. Nine glorious years.

This song was published around the time I was born. I love it and think it is quite ironic that it’s from 1970 or so like me 😉

But it also fits well with Mondays. A new week starts and we have a new day to fill and a new week to create. Isn’t that exciting?

So far I have filled it with cleaning upstairs and wash Sherky’s bed. She stepped in poo and brought it on her bed. Yuk! We had a lovely walk in the morning:

Breakfast was cheese on homemade sourdough and bucket fulls of coffee and tea. Monday is our Sunday so we went back to bed and listened to some music. Andy then got some more potatoes and straw for the chicken. I cleaned the dishes after walking Sherks. For lunch, I made some sandwiches with peanut butter, dhal and tofu. More coffee and tea 😉 and then I sat down and wrote a little. Maybe I can manage to get myself back into a daily blogging routine. That would be nice.

We also spent some time watching Boattubers:

Andy just told me that we have a severe weather warning for tonight: It’s going to be windy (no not the garlic in the dhal 🙂 ) Oh, we’ve also learned that all the current problems with shortages are the remainers fault. We didn’t tell anyone what would happen. Attention satire 😉

Well then…

In between all this, I took some time to have some chats on FB and WhatsApp and read some blogs and that’s where I am heading back to. Grudgingly, I am getting back into FB. I do not like their power and how they yield it but it is so much better to stay in contact with people. Grmpf, you can’t have cake and eat it, I assume, even though I had some this morning LOL. Well, maybe I try to learn to knit gloves too. Had a go three times yesterday but gave up in the end. Need to watch the videos I saw on Friday again to get somewhere. Did I tell you that we changed Sherky’s food from Burns to Tails.com? We got a trial pack last month and she seems to love it. Her bowels are much better and she goes mad when it’s feeding time. The bags are better too because you can close them. But I think it’s no recycled material and they have some food chemical stuff in the food that I do not approve of. Can’t remember how it’s called. But she loves it so much. Ah, well, all these things are first world problems so nothing to worry about.

Oh, it’s Monday! That means the lovely (yes Lady you ARE lovely!!!!!) Melanie over at “Sparks From a Combustible Mind” poses questions to answer on Mondays which are these this week:

How do you feel about sharing your computer or phone password with your partner?

No problem. He is not bothered anyway…

What is the greatest struggle you’ve overcome? (This isn’t meant to be invasive, just use general terms if you’d like.  Or if not, feel free to pass on the question.  That’s allowed too).

Getting through cancer treatment last year

If heaven is real and you died tomorrow, do you think you would get in?  Why or why not?  (this is purely speculation, no bias if you don’t believe)

Depends on whose heaven we are talking about. I wouldn’t be allowed in the catholic one because I am divorced and remarried. The Muslim or Jewish heaven is off-limits for me too I think because you need to follow their guidelines which I don’t. I think the pagans would let me in but they do not have a heaven as such. Maybe a fairy world or something? Well, I suspect it’s all futile anyway because we simply change back into another form of energy and become trees or something and that I think is the best heaven I can imagine.

What makes you feel like you really need to be alone?

Hmm, I don’t quite get that question. I need regular alone time but its not anything particular that makes me feel like that.

GRATITUDE SECTION  (as always, optional duh that’s the best part 🙂 )

Do you have any traditions around this time of year?

No, we do not do traditions. Well, I guess my birthday calls for a birthday cake which is sort of traditional and we eat something nice for our wedding day but that’s it!

I am grateful for blogging and this great community 🤗

You can find the prompt post here for more great share posts and how to take part! Thanks, Melanie, you rock!

So peeps, I let you into my Monday and even my world. What’s up in yours?

Please stay safe, stay kind and remember to share your day or world! You rock too!

  1. This is a lovely chatty post, Bee. I am sorry I am so behind with reading, its been a very bad work week and Greg is in his last week of his final year of school so there are a lot of demands on parents. I really enjoyed your answers to the questions, especially the one about Heaven. Have a good weekend, Bee.

    1. Hi Robbie, please do not apologise. I am in utter awe how some people can read a huge amount of posts per day. I never manage and am never disappointed if my posts have few views. I hope you’ll have some peace at the weekend and that all goes well for Greg. It must be terrifying to leave school in todays world. Am glad you liked this chatty post. I think I might keep on doing these 🙂 Take good care of yourself and I am sending relaxing vibes your way.
