Hello everybody, both those who are already in 2022 and those who have a couple of hours of 2021 left. It was a strange year, wasn’t it? Life doesn’t seem to move on as the virus is still around and will probably for quite some time. Some countries had more freedoms than others. Some humans chose to keep vigilant and stick with the Covid security measures. For others the pandemic is over and “we get back to normal!” We seem to be more divided than ever and I wonder where all this ends. But that is not for me to decide.
I still feel like I am in chemotherapy brain fog. Everything needs longer to sink in and I constantly feel like I am standing beside myself watching what the heck this Bee person is doing. That’s how it is. I’ll manage somehow and just wanted to give you a short reminder to check your breasts. Yes, guys you can do that too. Both your partners and your own. Yes, men can get breast cancer too, so please, don’t ignore any signs. I suppose for all those who don’t have a habit of checking the new year is a good time to start one.
Here are some tips from South Africa:
My plans for 2022 are simplifying my life, my creative work and our household. We haven’t moved forward with our Narrowboat plans yet but a constant trickle of interested people are coming along to view the house and boxes are spreading like mice around the house. We keep any we get :-). My anxiety and depression are raising their heads again as our decision to change our life style have brought up some fears I thought I had dealt with already. That’s life, I guess.
How are you doing? Do you have any plans for 2022? And what is your good wish for your fellow humans?
Mine is an old Irish blessing:
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
Please stay safe, stay kind and remember to rock 2022
Muahahahahahaaaaaa 😉
Happy New Year to you, Sweet Bee!!! 💖

Happy New Year, Bee! I have not planned yet but the planning is going to commence tomorrow. I am loaded up with journals, planners, and good intentions. I have never had chemo but I nevertheless have a foggy brain and can’t remember one day from the next, so it’s going to take some time.

Let’s hope the world’s governments get some common sense and get vaccines to everybody to reduce the chance of new variants so life can get on its way again 🤗😍🤗
