Ah, dear “Love Is In Da” Bloggers. You rock! And roll! And tango and are just great. You make this challenge. Sorry, that I currently can’t do my usual links to your challenges but I promise I give a good summary on March first 😇

No idea, if “Afrikaan Beat” by Bert Kaempfert and his orchestra was out in February 1962. However, it came up on the Bilboard 100 for February 1962 so I assume its ok. This post is dedicated to my grandma (that’s the love part you know LOL) who liked this sort of music. To me, that’s “happy” music. Nothing to critical or complicated to listen to. Some might think its sort of “lift music” but hey, we need that too. I didn’t think that Mr Kaempfert made it outside of Germany but obviously he had.

I knew this song because it pops up here and there in old TV programs but I didn’t know its title. Now I do and hope you’ll have some fun with old-fashioned lalalalalalaaaaa 😉
