A Love Song from February 20th, 2002 and new prompt: A Very Random Challenge ~ Love Is In Da Blog 2022

In 2002 I still lived in Germany and never imagined I would move to the UK. However, my then marriage started to fall apart and I started to figure that maybe there is more to my life than “just” having a home and job. I was writing and listening to music and I remember that I liked Puddle of Mudd even though I did not listen to much of their music. They had a hit of some sorts in Germany, but I can’t remember which song it was.

They quote the Wikipedia entry on their page: “Puddle of Mudd is an American rock band formed in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1991. To date, the band has sold over seven million albums and has had a string of No. 1 mainstream rock singles in the United States. Their major-label debut Come Clean has sold over five million copies. They have released an extended play, an independent album and five studio albums, with their latest being Welcome to Galvania in September 2019.

On February 20th “Blurry” from their “Come Clean” album was no 1 in the UK which I can’t remember. It’s a rocky number that reminds a little of “Nirvana” and tells about a broken relationship and how everything was or has become blurry. Please enjoy:
