Thank you for the music for A Very Random Challenge ~ Love Is In Da Blog 2022 & A reminder

I am sad. Sad because “Love Is In Da Blog 22” is over but also that in this month of love the opposite is happening.

I was wondering for a long time what Putin was really up to. I know now. But I have also started to wonder if this war on Ukraine might be his last hurray. It doesn’t look to me like the Russian population is behind him in this. I also feel that he might have underestimated the Ukrainian people and their heroic resistance. Man, are they courageous. He also might have underestimated how fast the West can unite if the spectre of the UDSSR and nuclear war pops up.

You know I am not a fan of war. Well, no one is, I guess. But I am a fan of democracy and of people living together in peace. And I realised in recent days that I would physically fight for that. Its confusing because my stand on war is this poem:

IF YOU DO NOT WANT WAR…

Dedicated to Wolfgang Borchert & Dietrich Bonhoeffer

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t think war

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t talk war

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t teach war

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t allow war games

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t allow war toys

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t produce war games

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t produce weapons

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t train soldiers

If you do NOT want war ~ don’t solve conflicts with war

If you do NOT want war ~ do not do war!

But do you really not want WAR?

That gives a lot to think.

So on the last day of “Love Is In Da Blog” I want to say thank you to all of you wonderful “Love Is In Da Bloggers” because you made love shine brightly in these dark days. Let’s do what we can to keep it shining!

And what’s the reminder? Well, it’s the last of the month and I remind you to check your breast for lumps and most of all: if you find anything please go and have it checked out. It probably is nothing but if it is: the earlier it is found the better the healing chances and less invasive treatment. That goes also for all other sorts of cancer. So, please, if any lump anywhere in your body worries you have it checked out 😍

And just to remind you here are the suggestions on how to take part and all prompts:

“Love Is In Da Blog” Rules/suggestions

  1. Join in! No matter where, when and with what. You missed the first day or week? Don’t worry. Just jump in when it suits you.
  2. Send us the link! The ping-back option does not work as my blog is private so please leave a link in the comments of the post on the day you take part.
  3. Tag your post either with “Love Is In Da Blog” or “LoIsInDaBl” or “Love Is In Da Blog 22” or #LoIsInDaBl22. You can also use these as hashtags for Twitter and other Social Networks to give your post more exposure.
  4. No matter which music the prompt favours you create with it whatever you please, and whatever length you please (no pun intended 😉 ) as long as it is about “LOVE.”
  5. I post the prompt post the day before so you have some time to make up your mind and create your post. There won’t be two different posts and I hope it’s not too confusing.
  6. If you like, use this picture for your readers to find the posts.

    1. You are welcome and don’t worry about the consistency. It says in the suggestions on taking part that you can do it as it fits. I am not the most consistent blog reader so I feel, I can’t expect it of others. 🤗 On my way to yours 😊
