Who’s The Boss?

Blimey, can anyone remember that series? Or was I the only one who watched it? πŸ€—

Yes, Germany imported quite a ton of US sitcoms when private TV stations arrived in the 80’s and I always liked a good old patchwork-family story. They were dubbed though and I always wondered how the original voices might sound.

Sound… ah, it’s that time of the year and I am watching the Eurovision Song Contest while writing this post which wasn’t supposed to be about sitcoms or music competitions 🀨

It was supposed to be about our beloved dog so get a grip woman and stay on topic! πŸ™„

I often like to take a picture of Sherky when I send a message to the best husband at work. Unfortunately, I didn’t always switch the flash off and blinded Sherky with it. So now whenever I point my phone in her direction she looks at me like this:

This is called “the stink-eye” in greyhound owner circles 🀣. Is it just me or does she look evil????

I must have pissed her off properly in the afternoon with my photo taking because on our evening walk yesterday she tried to trip me up a couple of times πŸ€ͺ

I have her walk behind me on that path because if she walks in front of me we would never get anywhere. Anyone knows what a “sniffari” is? Well, walk a greyhound and you’ll know. * 😁

Usually, having her walk behind me is no problem. If you leave out sudden arm-rip-offs, of course, because of said “sniffaris” 😜. BUT there are deer around. And Sherky loves deer. So yesterday, she pushed through my legs because a sniffari is so much more interesting where the wild ones go πŸ˜‚. So now you know who the boss is in our house 🀣

Does your pet try to get you too or are you the boss in all life’s situations? Please stay safe, stay kind and remember: pets rock! 😁

  1. Ah, Eurovision. I used to be an avid viewer but lost interest about 25 years ago. Heard the 2022 UK entry today which is supposed to be one of the favourites. Also heard that Ukraine had already won.
Such a shame that even music has become political and this contest now is shameless with the voting!

    1. Was the same for me but I got back drawn in last year because one of my favourite bands Hooverphonics was in it. I found the music last year quite good but am not too impressed this year so far. I heard the Ukrainian song on Spotify where they didn’t say whose country it was and I quite liked it. Now that I know its a song about his mum I like it even more. The Eurovision Song Contest was always political, I believe and I suspect Ukraine deserves it. There could be worse political causes … πŸ˜πŸ€—
