Blimey, can anyone remember that series? Or was I the only one who watched it? 🤗

Yes, Germany imported quite a ton of US sitcoms when private TV stations arrived in the 80’s and I always liked a good old patchwork-family story. They were dubbed though and I always wondered how the original voices might sound.

Sound… ah, it’s that time of the year and I am watching the Eurovision Song Contest while writing this post which wasn’t supposed to be about sitcoms or music competitions 🤨

It was supposed to be about our beloved dog so get a grip woman and stay on topic! 🙄

I often like to take a picture of Sherky when I send a message to the best husband at work. Unfortunately, I didn’t always switch the flash off and blinded Sherky with it. So now whenever I point my phone in her direction she looks at me like this:

This is called “the stink-eye” in greyhound owner circles 🤣. Is it just me or does she look evil????

I must have pissed her off properly in the afternoon with my photo taking because on our evening walk yesterday she tried to trip me up a couple of times 🤪

I have her walk behind me on that path because if she walks in front of me we would never get anywhere. Anyone knows what a “sniffari” is? Well, walk a greyhound and you’ll know. * 😁

Usually, having her walk behind me is no problem. If you leave out sudden arm-rip-offs, of course, because of said “sniffaris” 😜. BUT there are deer around. And Sherky loves deer. So yesterday, she pushed through my legs because a sniffari is so much more interesting where the wild ones go 😂. So now you know who the boss is in our house 🤣
