Living with depression doesn’t mean you are sad all the time. You do laugh and get on with life. 🕯 But sometimes it just hits you out of nowhere and then you need to take good care of yourself. 🌻

Thanks for asking ♥️ I did my self-care-I-do-not-let-depression-win routine 😁: a cup of tea, making vegan cheese (alternatively baking) and cooking to distract myself. 🕯 That’s my fastest way to get out of it. 🤗 I hope you are ok too and found something to get yourself out of it 🤗

I have found with the passing years that it gets easier because I have more experience now to know that the storm will pass eventually, nothing is permanent, no matter how bad it feels. Even if it’s something that can’t be fixed, time is kind enough to make it not so sharply painful.

That is absolutely true. I have to admit I don’t understand people who want to have their younger years back but maybe that’s because my younger years were not too great while theirs were 🤗
