Even if I wrote about that one before:
Growing up is a tough business!
There is group pressure, acne and rogue hormones to be dealt with. It was like that and it is like that. But sometimes I just wonder how the kids in the 70’s and 80’s were able to grow up.
Your parents send you to see your friends on your bike without a helmet. How dared they? On your own and without helmet!!!!! They also send you to school in winter when there was snow and ice on the street. Can you imagine that???? And believe it or not you were able to play conkers! No health and safety guy had a problem with that. And your mum cooked! How could we survive without all that sugar, salt and food additives? Not to mention of course Twitter, Facebook and Youtube? Well, as I said: growing up is a tough business!

Auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass ich hierueber schon mal geschrieben habe:
Aufwachsen ist ein hartes Geschaeft!
Da muss man sich mit Gruppenzwang, Akne und durchgedrehten Hormonen herumschlagen. Das war frueher und ist heute noch so. Aber manchmal wundere ich mich wirklich, wie die Kinder in den 70igern und 80igern aufwachsen konnten.
Deine Eltern haben Dich alleine auf dem Fahrrad ohne Helm zu Deinen Freunden geschickt! Alleine und ohne Helm! Was ist denen denn wohl eingefallen? Die haben Dich im Winter auch bei Eis und Schnee zur Schule geschickt. Kannst Du Dir das vorstellen? Und ob Du’s glaubst oder nicht, man durfte conkers spielen! Keine Sicherheitsrichtlinie hatte damit ein Problem! Und Deine Mutter hat selber gekocht! Wie konnten wir nur ohne den ganzen Zucker, das ganze Salz und die Lebensmittelzusaetze ueberleben???? Ganz zu schweigen von Twitter, Facebook und Youtube. Tja wie ich schon sagte: Aufwachsen ist ein hartes Geschaeft!
(leider konnte ich keine deutsche Alternative zu conkers und keine passende Alternative fuer “health and safety guys” finden)
