Happy St Patrick’s Day dear people of the blogosphere. I hope you and yours are well.

I am at my second cup of tea watching the second season of Shadow & Bone and it’s the second day of funny weather.

It’s chucking it down one minute and the next all quiet at the western coast. So my poor husband got rather wet when he went to town for our shopping. And he got a puncture too. No news from anyone though on our veg box.

The good news, however? The shop was open and the husband lugged a big bag of potatoes and other goodies back. Yeah!

Last night I was thinking, this situation might be a blessing in disguise though. Maybe online groceries simply do not work as well here as in the UK. It also seems more expensive.

So once we have a car back we’ll grudgingly go back to a weekly shop in a supermarket.

And what do the powers that be tell me today?

Four of Earth which is a cute squirrel in an autumn landscape and it advises:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, liebe Leute der Blogosphäre. Ich hoffe, es geht Euch und den Euren gut.

Ich bin bei meiner zweiten Tasse Tee und schaue mir die zweite Staffel von Shadow & Bone an, und es ist der zweite Tag mit komischem Wetter.

Es regnet wie blöd in einer Minute und in der nächsten ist alles ruhig an der Westküste. So wurde mein armer Mann ziemlich nass, als er zum Einkaufen in die Stadt ging. Und einen Platten hat er auch bekommen. Keine Neuigkeiten von irgendjemandem über unserer Gemüsekiste, jedoch.

Die gute Nachricht? Der Laden war geöffnet und der Ehemann schleppte eine große Tüte mit Kartoffeln und anderen Leckereien zurück. Ja!

Letzte Nacht dachte ich, diese Situation könnte jedoch ein Segen im Unglück sein. Vielleicht funktionieren Online-Lebensmitteleinkaufen hier einfach nicht so gut wie in Großbritannien. Es scheint auch teurer zu sein.

Sobald wir also ein Auto zurück haben, gehen wir widerwillig zurück zu einem Wocheneinkauf in einem Supermarkt.

Und was sagen mir die Mächtige heute?
