The sun was out today and I wondered if Nick Kershaw did a River Song. If I’d be taking part in “Blogging from A-Z” I’d tell you he sang one but I am not sure if it’s his. Also, he plays with Go West and now I have a PET Shop Boys Tune in my head.

Gosh, I loved Nick Kershaw as a teen and had one of his records. My favourite song was “The Riddle”. Now you know where I got my English from 🤣.

Die Sonne schien heute und ich fragte mich, ob Nick Kershaw einen River Song gemacht hat. Wenn ich bei „Bloggen von A-Z“ mitmachen würde, würde ich Euch sagen, dass er einen gesungen hat, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es von ihm ist. Meine Güte, ich habe Nick Kershaw als Teenager geliebt und hatte eine seiner Platten. Mein Lieblingslied war „The Riddle“. Jetzt weißt du, woher ich mein Englisch habe 🤣.

Nicholas David „Nik“ Kershaw (* 1. März 1958 in Bristol) ist ein britischer Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer-Songwriter und Komponist. Zwischen Herbst 1983 und Ende 1985 hatte er große Erfolge mit Titeln wie I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, Wouldn’t It Be Good oder The Riddle. Später trat er auch als Komponist u. a. für Chesney Hawkes oder The Hollies in Erscheinung. Seine späteren Werke wie 15 Minutes oder To Be Frank werden eher dem Progressive Rock zugeordnet.
