Hallo, liebe Leser; Wie geht es Euch? Wir hoffen, dass es Euch gut geht und dass Ihr, falls nicht, die Hilfe erhalten, die Ihr benötigt. Heute habe ich etwas Besonderes für Euch. Das Wetter war herrlich und wir teilten unsere Aussicht und den Himmel, der mich so fasziniert mit einem meiner Gedichte.

Your countryside is gorgeous, and your poem is lovely. I’ve enjoyed the English/German you share. Oh so many, many years ago, I took four years of German in school, but I never traveled anywhere to ‘use’ it. I’ve retained remnants of phrases and words, but shamefully few.

Thank you so much. I am glad you like my video. It is so hard to keep a language going if you are not living or travelling in the area. And German is no easy language. Even I need help with it sometimes. That’s how it is with Dutch and French for me. I know the basics, but that’s it.
