It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I will give you 31 facts about breast cancer & 31 Links to cancer information according to the 31 countries where my viewers come from. I checked where my readers come from in 2024 and took the 31 countries on the top and today we start with the US. Yes, most of my viewers come from the US and I am grateful for you. You rock. And everybody else, of course, too.

And what’s the first fact?

Breast cancer doesn’t always come in the form of a lump.

Breast cancer in its earliest stages usually doesn’t have any symptoms. When symptoms do appear, it’s not always in the form of a lump. Be on the lookout for any of the signs below and report them to your doctor right away.

• Lump in your breast
• Swelling in or around your breast, collarbone or armpit
• Skin thickening or redness in or around your breast
• Breast warmth and itching
  Nipple changes or discharge
• Breast pain lasting for more than three to four weeks

Und was ist die erste Tatsache?

Brustkrebs kommt nicht immer in Form eines Knotens.

Brustkrebs in seinen frühen Stadien hat normalerweise keine Symptome. Wenn die Symptome auftreten, ist es nicht immer in Form eines Knotens. Achtet auf eines der folgenden Anzeichen und meldet es sofort bei Eurem Arzt.

– Knoten in der Brust
– Schwellungen in oder um die Brust, das Schlüsselbein oder die Achselhöhle
– Verdickung der Haut oder Rötung in oder um die Brust
– Hitze in der Brust und Juckreiz um den Nippel
– Flüssigkeit vom Nippel
– Brustschmerzen, die länger als drei bis vier Wochen anhalten
