So, life is a riddle. At least it is to me. But the blogosphere is a great place to find answers. Also to find creative writing and other prompts. Not that I need the prompts but it is such a great way to find blogs to connect with. I love the fact that it is so easy to connect all over the world nowadays.

I’ve heard a lot and read a lot about the “Share your World” prompt and so I thought I try it out and see what will come from it. Ah… exciting.

Questions:

Last week I asked a question about favorite beverages and the overwhelming favorite was coffee. If you drink coffee, how do you like it best? Hot, cold, iced, with cream, with sugar or black as black?

Every now and then though I love a good cup of coffee. Usually hot but always with milk and at least a pinch of cinnamon. And if I can be bothered also cardamom and cloves.

If you don’t drink coffee, how has that beverage impacted YOUR world?

Well, I would love to drink more coffee. Yes, I know its supposed to be unhealthy but it is quite nice and gives the day a good kick. However, my stomach doesn’t like too much of it. It gets rather sore otherwise. So it might not have impacted my world too much but it definitely impacts my stomach ;-).

In your opinion, what’s the greatest invention of our age?

Hmmm. Difficult: There are so many. I think human rights and free speech. But I also agree with Melanie’s indoor plumbing. And then there is the internet. And washing machines. And…

Global warming? Reality or myth?

According to scientists and my experience of the weather recently ~ Biest from the East, heatwave and both in the UK!!!!!! ~ definitely reality. I cannot fathom how people can make themselves believe the weather isn’t changing. Well, if you are a politician and earn something from the lies fair enough but “normal” citizens? Must be the “head in the sand” syndrome…

Are you an explorer or more a homebody?

I am definitely both. Contradiction? Of course. But that’s me :-). I love to travel and even if it is only around here to find a new path to walk the dog. But there is nothing like coming home to the best husband (Jeremy Clarkson voice) in the world and a nice cup of tea!!!!
