Happy, New week my dear friends. I hope life is treating you well.
Besides the Tamoxifen trouble all is well here and I am happy to report that I caught the crafting bug.

In 2020 I re-learned how to knit socks and also started to make birthday cards etc. That venture was not particularly successful but the socks work out OK π

And last week I challenged myself to overcome my crotchet-inability π€£
Thanks to Sarah Jayne at Bella Coco I managed to crotchet 4 squares for a mini-quilt. If you follow me on Instagram you’ve already seen my immense success π
For all others: here is the proof

What have you challenged yourself to do this week?
Take good care of yourselves my dears & please stay safe, stay kind and remember: you can achieve anything!

What have o challenged myself to do this week?
Get up and breath πππ

I want to take up crochet again too. I was in the midst of making a frog when I fell away. I notice in your picture that the squares curl a bit–are you putting that extra loop(s) at the end of each row?

I think I forgot that a couple of times but in general I do. A frog, that’s cool. I think it’s easier to make things like that with crotchet instead of knitting. π

Well done, Bee. I am not a knitter and have never tried croqueting. I wrote 5 new poems this weekend with an African theme.

Thanks Robbie, that is crafting too, I believe. Looking forward to reading them. π
