Good morning peeps π may you have a wonderful day despite everything.
I walk Sherky before I go to work and last week she got very excited because she saw a squirrel π
For visually impaired readers: black greyhound with red coat and purple collar. Her ears are standing up. You can see her from behind standing on a field path looking ahead.
Does your dog get excited about little critters?
Please, stay safe, stay kind and remember: you rock! πββοΈπ

A cute picture, Bee. I hope work is going well for you.
Maggie would ‘ask’ to chase pigeons, crows or seagulls, but would lift a pheasant regardless then sit back and watch it fly. She would quarter like no other dog I’ve had and not miss an inch.
Maggie was known for NOT going into the farmer’s fields, even when the gates were open. On the marina, she showed no inclination with the ducks, geese or swans (nor here actually), but if there was a pheasant in the undergrowth, she’d lift it, and wouldn’t rest until she did. She did chase a cat here last year and it was too much for her, so I had to call Hubby to collect us in the car. Maggie flipped a tiny bunny kitten (didn’t hurt it, just curious), chased a squirrel once and got nipped, and rolled a pigeon. Feathers went everywhere, though the bird was unharmed and probably a little embarrassed..
