A Crazy Mind Flies

Good morning good people of the blogosphere. How are you rolling today? I don’t know yet because for some strange reason, I’ve decided to publish my posts at just before 1am. Blessed be the scheduling function of WordPress πŸ˜‰

When I wrote today’s poem I’ve only been back to work for two days and all was very new for me. The residents who I sometimes see in the garden didn’t realise yet I was working there and did not interact with me. Now they do when they see me coming along even though I can’t have direct contact because of COVID. But you can have a chat from afar.

And these chats sometimes are rather curious. One resident ask me: “What are you wearing on your head?” I answered: “It’s my hat” (black bobble hat with white bobble). He went on to say:” And that white thing on top is a bird?” I couldn’t help myself saying:” Yes, that’s my pet bird” just before I had to go inside to sign in.

I know so well, how much your mind can play tricks on you and working again brought to my mind how hard it sometimes is to deal with anxiety and depression:

Bright sunflowers in my thoughts.

These ponderings led nowhere.

A crazy mind flies.

Have you ever had a somehow crazy conversation?

Happy Tuesday, despite everything.

Please stay safe, stay kind and remember you rock!

    1. Hi Robbie, thanks so much for your kind words. I do adjust and have changed my work time so I have one day more to recover. It’s more me thinking I have to work like I am 20. Work doesn’t expect it. I hope you and yours are well and safe. Have a good week πŸ€—πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ
