Acapella music used to be very hip in Germany in the 1920s and 30s with an internationally known group called “The Comedian Harmonists“. I got introduced to their music when Max Raabe revived their songs in the 1990’s and I absolutely loved it. I shared some info about him in Love Is In Da Blog 2019 and also a video of the Comedian Harmonists.

Every Christmas my go-to songs are those of Pentatonix and up until recently I haven’t been a huge fan of their other work. That changed last year when I checked out more of their songs. The one I chose today is a recording from March 2021 and rings so true for the husband and I: We hold each other close when our demons are strong because we understand that pushing away often is a cry for help rather than being nasty.
